Position: Occupational Therapist in Frenchtown, MT

More about the Position:

It is a 4-5 day a week position based on the caseload that includes meeting and documentation necessary to provide quality services.

• Evaluate students PreK to 12th grade to determine their functional levels and to ID their special needs
• Plan and implement therapeutic activities to assist special education students in benefiting from their educational experience
• Attend ER meetings, IEP, 504 meetings for school district students as well as other meetings to collaborate with staff
• Maintain up - to - date student records including daily notes for Medicaid eligible students, progress monitoring, and other documentation
• Collaborate recommend activities/ strategies to school staff to support RTI/ Tiered approach
• Attend pre- referral Student Assistance Team Meetings
• Collaborate with other school staff school based services to students in all grades 
• 38 students, 22 consecutive 
• $40-50/ hour based on experience

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Must have current license in MT
• Preferred 1-2 years of experience working with school aged children
• Must obtain all clearances and documentation to work for a school district in MT
• Preferred background/ understanding with IEP goal writing, reporting, timelines and other educational processes
